Server & Teamspeak Info important

Well, crazy times at work. I broke lots, i fixed things, and ended up not getting teamspeak2 to work.
On the bright side, Teamspeak3 seems to work fine. Worlds different then the original. I’m still lost, but I created the basic channels. no server password yet… maybe once I find it.

I had to rebuild the teamspeak2 server.
I recreated most accounts, password is the same as the username.

Sorry bout that.

Also a new channel -DDO- , I’m whoring it out to some D&D;Online peeps.
If they play Sat, they should stay out.

zeke and bink have been hard at work making changes to Housewares.

First off, bink is now the official Team Housewares Twitter Czar

He’s in charge of our new Twitter feed. Thanks for getting that set up, binkster!

zeke is making modifications to the THW mod, namely making it easier to custom bash messages. I was going to hack in the connect/disconnect sounds (you all remember those, right?). Well, it looks like zeke is gonna beat me to that.

zeke also tied the Housewares server into the Twitter feed. Currently it announces the name of the map when it rotates.

Me, I guess I’m just being a slacker.

ok - funnel all complaints to REX He’s got his FTP server up and running - he put all the maps over on his ftp site including the new smaller maps - go get em for Saturday night !! I’m not sure if we’ll have the redirect functional - too many life distractions I think there are only about 10 new maps, so just pull down what you need.

for the zekester - I was trying to break my DSL connection today since it goes down every 2 minutes at night (no luck yet) - I needed to get my mac cod2 install up to date - so I was connecting to the housewares server and had pulled down the 100mb update, but the mod.iwd (about 13 mb I think ?) gave me a download failure. I tried to re-connect to the server, did, and it started to pull that mod down again, and then threw the same error. It’s almost acting like the virtual server is down or not responding ..

wanted to invite everyone to checkout the new cod4 server that my work buds a ordered up to test out.

This includes some recent guests to housewares (papag/gmac , rexkwando) and a couple others

teamspeak ip is 72.249.10.130:8815. It’s anonymous, but give yourself a nickname and the password is smackdown

Game server is also private (10 slot), and the password is also smackdown
ip is 72.249.13.138 (normal port) we show up as team smackdown.
We have is stock except the 1.5 patch, and voting is on so we can play any gametype/map we want.

These guys have cod4 fever and are playing almost nightly now, usually starting around 10pm Texas time

If you hop on teamspeak and anyone asks who you are - just mention binkdog/housewares - they all know I’ve invited the housewares family

I thought Ash had already created a topic for us Employees to post console codes, but I couldn’t find one (except the Guitar Hero thread).

Anyways, with the impending release of the Wii Fit, I finally gave in and bought myself a game console, namely the Nintendo Wii. The Wii is something I would refer to as a Social Networking Console, as it encourages you to make friends and “mingle”.

So, for Employees Only, I will post my console codes, in case anyone wants to make friends with my console
