as much as it pains me to say this macster -I think you should plan on some bootcamp love. I called aspyr yesterday to ask about timeline, availability of a demo for the mac, and all they could tell me was that testing was delayed. I asked about system specs to see if my powerful x1600 monster ago card could handle it, and they said system specs had yet to be determined.

Speaking of cod4 - had 5 people logged into my iMac the other night running a teamspeak server and was also hosting a cod4 server. I guess it was public - we ended up with 13 people on it at one point! I should point out in fairness this was under bootcamp

Anyone playing on Housewares tonite?

I, however, will try and set up my Steam account and download CoD4. Ash and bink have finally shamed me into doing the begrudged “bootcamp” thing. I have a partition set aside for it, now I just need to install crap (Whah!—that ones for you binkdog! )

5.56—the others tell me that you are going to get yourself Call of Duty 4 soon. I’m guessing that would leave me the only one without it.

Not sure....Fathers day has yielded a much needed new Driver for me golf bag so the COD4 is now on the wish list for 08.  Maybe Christmas....unless the price were to come down before then.

nice to see mac joining the bootcampers so I’ve got 2 buds planning to play sat. night (papag returning, and rexkwando).  Also - me and the boys from work have ponied up some $$ for a 10 slot private server with 10 slot teamspeak for COD4 (in Dallas, the land of good ping times - wooot !! it wasn’t my idea really - they all wanted to start playing ).  If y’all want to try that server, I’ll hand out the pwd on Sat. night. We installed the 1.5 patch on it.  Rexkwando is still learning and is planning to get cod2 (he already has cod4 and we played tonight), so he’ll be some serious fresh meat on sat. night as he’s never played cod2 and is averaging 1-2 kills per game in cod4-land against all these “55” ranked player

Yes Mac, you always have it.
You can install Steam on multiple PCs and all the games you purchase through steam will just re-download.
As long as you are not logged in to multiple instances of your steam account you can have multiple copies installed on multiple PCs.
